Paolo Conte is, first of all, a great poet. And with the term "poet" I refer to the pure classical meaning of the word. Which is naturally closely connected with music and musicality in tight sense. Unique poetry, multisensory evocations where the images are poetical synthesis of crucial moments of dense incomprehensible "realitas" which flow inevitably into the silence.
